Fred Eli Baumgartner, 73, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at his home.

Fred was born on August 17, 1952, in La Crosse, WI. He was the son of Fred Eli Baumgartner and Audrey Lorrianne Baumgartner (Robinson).

Fred is survived by his wife, Cheryl: her daughters Brenna (Zach) Karbula, grandchildren, Christian and Henry, Maisie Tolzmann (Alex), Hannah Tolzmann (Darren); grandchildren Gabe McCarty (Haley) and Aubrey McCarty (Ben): mother -in-Law, Patricia Cornwell, father-in-Law, James Cornwell.

A celebration of Fred’s life is tentatively planned on May 2. 2026, 1-4 PM at the Mormon Coulee Community Shelter pending reservations after the first of the year.
