Arlene Mary Jensen
Arlene Mary Jensen, 83, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020 at Benedictine Villa in La Crosse.
She was born on July 22, 1936 to Frank and Josephine (Nedza) Tarnaski.
She enjoyed listening to music and playing piano, as well as writing poetry, for which she was published. Another favorite hobby of hers was resale shopping. Arlene enjoyed her work as an executive assistant for H. Earl Hoover and Ravinia Festival.
Arlene is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Kevin) Grotzke and Amanda (Marco) Morales; and her three beloved grandchildren: Alex Grotzke, Olivia Morales, and Ava Morales.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Josephine Tarnaski.
Arlene’s family would like to thank all of the amazing staff at Benedictine Villa and Mayo Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Chicago.

Aelene was a long time resident of or home. Ive been missing her since sine she left here and was next door. We oten visited. I learned that she had an intresting life, and you have my sympathy. EUGENIA APT 213.
I am sad to read that Arlene has died. I am a volunteer for the public library’s home delivery service and delivered materials to Arlene for the past few years, up until the current Covid crisis made that impossible. I enjoyed our conversations about her library materials, Chicago, and current events. I will miss her.
