Benjamin Winston Bass

Benjamin Winston Bass of La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away August 27th, 2020 from cancer. Ben was born October 26th 1954 to Boni and Mossie Lee Taylor -Bass.

Ben was generous to a fault. Never met a stranger, and would go out of his way to help the ones who needed it. Those he loved, he loved deeply and they knew it.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Willola Taylor Williams; father-in-law, Ronald Hill.

Ben is survived by Chrissie and children Ben Kessler. Eli Kessler and daughter Emily. Geoffery (Amber) and children Jaiden and Antiawn, Chaz (Cierra) and Chaz Jr., Denzel (Abby) and special daughter Radiance Williams. He is also survived by his brothers Robert L Taylor and Solomon L Bass, wife Janice and sister Rosie Goldsberry, 1st cousin Frenchie Griffen III. Ben also has some Very special friends. Jeff, Tommy, Tharren Chris, Bob Moss and Teri McWilliams, along with many nieces and nephews.

We would like to send a special thank you to the hospice team at Mayo for all of your wonderful help. Your compassion meant so much to Ben.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska.  Face masks are required.
