Betty Hagen
Mrs. Robert I. Hagen (Betty), 94, passed away July 2, 2018 at Vernon Memorial Hospital, Viroqua after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her grandparents (John Knutsen) of LaFarge, her mother, Florence Forer of La Crosse and her husband, Robert of Viola.
Betty worked many years as a dental assistant for Dr. Harold Peters of Viola and Drs. Kenneth DeLap and Jerry Baumgartner of Viroqua. An avid gardner, Betty was especially proud of her many iris beds and vegetable gardens.
In recent years Betty resided at Maplewood Terrace in Viroqua. She leaves behind daughters Tamara Hagen of Madison and Barbara Tiona of Onalaska.
A memorial will be held and a date will be announced. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. She and our mom (Evelyn Schroeder) were good friends and I remember Betty fondly.
