Bev also worked at the Whitehall Hospital in the kitchen and stuffing papers at the Arrow Shopper. After retiring she could be found sitting on her porch or working in her yard. She took pride in her flower beds and her yard.

Bev’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished all the events she attended from school programs, to sporting events, graduations and weddings. Then started again with the many events of her 28 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.  In 2021 Bev was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which she fought with all her family by her side.

Bev has always been such a hero to me, and a sister as long as I can remember since she joined our family by marrying Larry when I was only five years old. I still can’t imagine all of the work: cooking, cleaning, shopping, school conferences, etc. since Larry passed when they were both on 35, leaving her with 11 beautiful children to raise on her own! This has caused a lot of tears, but I have to smile thinking of her reunited with Larry again, and being with her parents, and mine, who loved her very much.
