Beverly Ann Paulson 83, of Ettrick, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 16, 1940 to William (Stanley) and Esther (Severson ) Bishop. On the family farm. She attended country school later graduating from Gale-Ettrick in 1958.  On November 8, 1958 she married her childhood sweetheart Larry Paulson who passed away in September 1975.

She worked at club 95 until she started their family of 11. They were blessed with six boys and five girls.

Bev was very active and had great faith in her church, helping out at the St. Patrick’s Day dinner, Fall Fest and card parties. Bev also worked at the Whitehall Hospital in the kitchen and stuffing papers at the Arrow Shopper. After retiring she could be found sitting on her porch or working in her yard. She took pride in her flower beds and her yard.

Bev’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished all the events she attended from school programs, to sporting events, graduations and weddings. Then started again with the many events of her 28 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.  In 2021 Bev was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which she fought with all her family by her side.

I send my deepest sympathy to Bev’s wonderful family on the loss of their mom, grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and her special family. You all did a wonderful job being caretakers for your wonderful mom. I worked a lot of church functions with Bev and she was always fun to work with. She will be sadly missed by so many. Bev has always been such a hero to me, and a sister as long as I can remember since she joined our family by marrying Larry when I was only five years old. I still can’t imagine all of the work: cooking, cleaning, shopping, school conferences, etc. since Larry passed when they were both on 35, leaving her with 11 beautiful children to raise on her own! This has caused a lot of tears, but I have to smile thinking of her reunited with Larry again, and being with her parents, and mine, who loved her very much.
