Blakely Marie Kane
Blakely Marie Kane, 11 months, of Holmen, gained her angel wings on Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born on July 21, 2018 to Jesse and Brittany (Falk) Kane. Blakely was loved by many; she provided many teachable moments and touched many people throughout her short life. She is survived by her parents, Jesse and Brittany; her sister, Harper; her grandparents, Earl and Pam Kane and Twila and Gary Falk; her great grandparents, Norm Rogers Sr. and Bonna Tauscher; her aunt, Mallory Kane; her uncles, Jacob Kane and Jason Falk; her cousin, Liam Falk; and many other extended family members and friends. The family wishes to extend a most sincere thank you to the loving care provided by Blakely’s caregivers; Alyse, Brittany, Jenna, Jessica, Maia, Michelle, and Tatiany; and the many providers at Gundersen Health System. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Families for HoPE, Inc; donations made online at https://familiesforhope.org/ or via mail with checks payable to “Families for HoPE, Inc” and sent to 1219 N. Wittfield St., Indianapolis, IN 46229 or to Children’s Miracle Network, donations made online at https://childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/donate/with connection though Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, in the Prairie Room at the Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, with a visitation from 11 AM until the time of the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
