Deb, Cory and “ Animal” ? so sorry to hear about Bruce. Have good memories of chumming with him at out of town hockey tournaments back in the day. Killing time between games by fletching arrows in the motel, Steph and Bruce dancing like crazy in the bar to the song “ Shout” from the movie Animal House, and last but not least and I just told this story to a new hockey dad at the Omni last week at the high school game. Bruce and I were standing at the glass at the rink in Janesville Wi and a spectator in the stands from Janesville said to us “ we don’t allow standing on the boards at our rink here”, you’ll have to sit down. “ When we didn’t he yelled at us to sit down in the bleachers and Bruce turned around and calmly said”you going to come down here and make me ? “ Ahhh, the good old hockey days with “Northside rules” and French Island add ons no less. PS we didn’t sit down.
Bruce was a good guy who left too soon. Take care you guys and remember the good times.
