Carol Jean Weber, 79 of La Crosse. On July 9th, 2023 Carol was surrounded by her loved ones when she peacefully passed to be with our heavenly father.

Carol was born August 13th, 1943, to Glen and Marion Weber.

Carol graduated in 1961 from Central High School. She worked at La Crosse Footwear (Rubber Mills) in the shoe room for 39 years. Carol was a major nerd long before it was cool to be a nerd. She was a gamer, Sci-Fi junkie, movie buff, superhero lover and liked to do a little gambling with her sister in-law and best friend Reita from time to time. She was an avid reader especially Stephen King and Dean Koonz books. She loved to garden. She loved to travel with family whether it be a short weekend trip to Treasure Island or a three-week trip down the east coast. She never missed a newly released sci-fi movie with her nieces Jan and Renee. She looked forward to her niece Kelly’s weekly visits. She always appreciated and depended on her nephew Ron to do whatever she had on her chore list.

Carols favorite title in life was being Aunt Carol. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Several of us felt as if she was a second mom to us. There is nothing she would not do for any one of them.

Carol is survived by her Sister-in-law Reita Weber of La Crosse. Nieces and Nephews: Stephen Cox, Judy (Jim) Slaback, Mary Roberts of La Crosse. Kenneth (Shelia) Kuhlman of West Salem. Robert (Cheryl) Weber of Winter Garden, Florida. Todd Taylor, Renee (Jan) Weber, Tonjia Weber, Ronald (Pepper) Weber of La Crosse. Kim (Mark) Chandler of Black River Falls.
