Charles (Chuck) Edward Olson
Charles (Chuck) Edward Olson, 71, of Onalaska, Wisconsin, passed away on December 15, 2019.
He married Anna Sias Olson in 1972 in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
Chuck enjoyed his work at Trane Company in La Crosse, Wisconsin for 30 years before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; brothers Richard Olson of Somerset, WI; Brian Olson and sister-in-law Cindy Foster Olson, New Richmond, Wisconsin and brother-in-law Harold Christensen of New Richmond, Wisconsin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles (Chuck) Olson; his mother, Elsie Olson; his sister, Lona Christensen and his brother Ronald Olson.
The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Hillview Health Care Center of La Crosse, WI; Brookdale Senior Living of Onalaska, WI and the Gundersen Hospice team for the wonderful care he received.
At his request, there will be no services.
Memorials may be directed to the Coulee Region Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
Anna – so sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. He was one of the good ones! He was such an integral part our golfing (the Fall Tour) group along with Larry Pohja and Kevin Vossler. When I needed something done from his area of the Trane Lab I always thought that he gave me a bit of special support in getting my jobs done…….maybe ahead of others. Like you said in your e-mail to Larry that he shared with me………..he kind of dropped out of our lives but we fully understood and his name would come up often on the Fall Tour. Too bad the last few years weren’t that enjoyable for him but as you said, he is at peace now. My sincerest sympathy. Bob Kay
