Clifford Ray Johnson

Clifford Ray Johnson, 81, of Black River Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Tomah Veterans Hospital. He was born on July 27, 1937 to Walter and Doris (Fields) Johnson. He married Sue Miller on July 9, 1993.

Clif graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1956 and enlisted in the Air Force from August 30, 1956 to August 29, 1962, where he was stationed in over 13 different countries. After returning home from service he moved to Racine, WI and worked for Chrysler Corp. for 31 years. He returned to the Millston area to enjoy his retirement.  In his lifetime, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, carpentry, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was a lifelong member of Millston Knapp Sportsman club, a proud member of Long Lake Lager Leakers, and a charter member of Bad Ass Builders.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; furbaby, Morgan; sisters, Elsie (Carl) Swanson, Darlene Sneider, Lorretta Johnson; brother-in-law, Dale (Mary) Walworth; nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Walworth.

The family will be holding a celebration of life in the spring.
