Dale Osley

Dale Osley, 91, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem, Wisconsin. Dale was born November 14, 1928 to Clarence and Mina (Olson) Osley on the family farm in Melrose, Wisconsin. Dale married Phyllis Niemeyer in 1952 and they later divorced. In 1967 October Dale professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Dale worked many years as an operating engineer for Mathy Construction. Dale was a hard worker, always willing to lend a hand to help anyone, whether working on a car, fieldwork on a farm, or whatever needed to be done. Dale enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Dale loved the simple life. He always said “As long as I have a couple dollars in my pocket and food to eat, I have everything I need in this life.” He enjoyed planting trees in the spring and cutting pulp wood in the winter.

Dale is survived by four sons, Duane (Karen), David (Cheryl), Jeffrey and Timothy, a daughter-in-law, Mary, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; Gerald, Gweneth, La Moine, Thorne, Larry, Delain, Yolanda, Janell and Edson, a son, Michael, a daughter-in-law, Betty and 2 granddaughters, Leyna and Sara.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St, Onalaska WI 54650. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Social distancing and face masks are encouraged.
