Darlene Zemple
Darlene Zemple, 88, of La Crosse, passed away, November 15, 2024.
She married Harvey Zemple May 31, 1953, at St. James Trinity Church Fall Creek, WI.
She will be remembered as a loving wife to her late husband, Harvey (Hobart) for 55 years. She loved cooking and baking. Cranberries, raspberries, and dates were favorites. Many recipes with these ingredients were found. She also loved flower gardening. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Onalaska WI. Mom was proud of her family. Always thinking of her brothers and sister and children.
She is survived by her daughter, Balorie (Bryan) of Chetek WI; son, Luther (Pat) Zemple of La Crosse; grandchildren, Tannille Zemple, Whitney Zemple, Stephanie (Jeremy) Cares, Matthew Miller, Ryan (Summer) Miller. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Hunter, Haylee, Audrey, Carter and Eliana; brother-in-law Dennis Aasen; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kaeding, sister-in-law, Dorothy Goble, many other relatives and friends. Also, by family member, Earl Thomas, Balories father-in-law.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Harvey, who passed away in 2008, brothers Arvid and Charles, and her sister Beverly.
Thank you to: The staff at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem for providing good care for Mom. Also, to St Paul’s Church for their pastoral care and visits.
