David Michael Stegen
David Michael Stegen was born on July 6, 1952, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to Neuman and Elizabeth (Wensel) Stegen. David grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. David passed away during a flight from La Crosse to Rochester, Minnesota, on August 12th, 2020.
David had a number of jobs during his life including working in maintenance at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in IL.
David is survived by his son Matt (Gina) Stegen and their children, Maddox, Roman, Brynnley and Vincent, four brothers, Gary, Geoff, and Bill (Kathy), of La Crosse and Terry of Milwaukee, and six sisters, Anna La Fleur and Barbara Rochester of La Crosse, Sylvia (Dave) La Due, of Aurora, IL., Bonnie (Scott) Kerr of Wautoma, Shellie of Montgomery, AL, and Kim (Jim) Wiegand of Lodi. David is also survived by his nephews, Rick (Angel) La Due, Todd and Bradley (Tonya) Fiers, Rory and Jessie (Ashley) Carlson, Scott La Fleur, Mark and Steven Potter, Wade (Tammy) Stevenson, Aric (Mayriciel) Stegen, Jason (Lynn) and Ryan (Casi) Rochester, and nieces Jody Fiers, Michelle Elsen, Stacy (Kevin) Roberts, Amy (Matt) McKeeth, Karra Stegen, Courtney Stegen, Chrystal (Matt) Johnson and Nichole (Nathan) Darling.
David was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Sandy Carlson, Sonja Potter, and Gail King, three infant sibligns, his nephew, Paul La Due, niece, Lisa La Due, and grand-nephew, Caleb Colsch.
A private burial will be at a later date.

Since I was a co- worker at Hillview of Matt and Gina and Kathy, I want to especially lift you and your families in prayer during this most difficult time.
