David Ralph Danielson
March 21, 1946 – September 9, 2019
David R Danielson, 73, of Bangor passed away on September 9, 2019. He was born on March 21, 1946 to Ulrich and Alma (Baardseth) Danielson.
He attended Striped School House, graduated from Bangor High School in 1964. He earned an Associate Degree from WWTI. He was employed at La Cro Products, La Crosse, WI for over 40 years until his retirement. He lived his whole life on the Danielson Family Homestead in the Town of Burns. His nephew Jeramy Schaub, and his children Gracie, Nevaeh, and Damien joined him in operating the farm. Dave loved to play cards with family and friends. After his retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Country Jam. He liked to put on his Santa suit and deliver krumcakes, which he enjoyed making. He wasn’t one to venture far from home, but he did enjoy fishing and exploring trips with family and friend Jimmy K.
He is survived by his sisters: Charlotte Jerome, Jacqueline (Allen) Fisher, Nancy Stetzer, Donna (Leonard) Schaub, and Peggy Kneifl. Brother-in-law Oren (Skinner) Winson. 7 nephews and 16 nieces, and many great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman, sister Mary Winson, Brother-in-laws Raymond Griffin, Donald Jerome, and Michael Stetzer.
His celebration of life will be Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 1-4 pm at the L & M Café, 405 Washington Street, Melrose, WI. Interment will be in the Burns Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Mayo Healthcare Center in La Crosse and Sparta.
