Dean Hanson
Dean Hanson, 75 of Mindoro, WI passed away August 21, 2026.
He was born to Charles and Delores on August 12, 1951. He served in the Army, stationed in Germany, and Korea. In the past he worked construction, and general carpentry. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting, and fishing. Especially those that brought him closer to the river, where he felt most at peace.
Dean had a special sense of humor, and always had something witty to say, in the hopes that it would brighten someone’s day, and put a smile on their face. He especially enjoyed travelling north to the Black River Falls Casino with his wife, to spend some time socializing with the many friends he made there over the years. Dean married Judy Antone in 1979. They spent 47 loving years together and cherished every moment of it.
He is survived by his wife Judy, their son Troy, his siblings Duane, Debra, and Curt. Along with his grandchildren Kyle, April, Clayton, and Aurora. Dean and Judy kindly took in and raised Kyle and April.
They were always enthralled by the many stories Dean would tell.
Per Dean’s wishes there will be no service or gatherings.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family during this difficult time.

What A Cool Man . The neighborhood won’t seem the same not seeing his smiling face. I will always remember Dean . His Time is Truly With God . And I’d imagine he’s Watching , And Smiling. I Pray that The Lord Please Make Time Easier On His Great Family. .
So sorry to hear my cousin Dean passed. Our family won’t be the same without him. Sympathies to his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings and their families.

Curt and Dean….two wild and crazy guys from Mindoro who knew how to party and make mischief. Of course this was 50 years ago I’m remembering. It was always fun to go from French Island to Mindoro to Dean’s father’s bar to toss back a few. Good memories with great people.
Rest in peace Dean. You will be surely missed.

My condolences. Dean and I played at lot of basketball during lunch. We both graduated in 69. We visited frequently at Black River.
My deepest sympathy to Judy, Troy and family, as well as Deans siblings. Been friends with Dean & Judy since before they were married, so I have many memories of Dean. He was quite the jokester anytime he was around. RIP Dean. 🙏
