Obituary
Deanna Rae Hove
Deanna Rae Hove, 31, of Holmen, WI, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2021. She was born on June 9, 1989 to Dean and Kathy Hove. She graduated from Holmen High School.
Deanna was a beautiful soul that left us way too early.
Let this be said… we cannot begin to summarize all the love, laughter, beauty and compassion she brought to her family and friends. She loved her family with her whole heart and took special interest in her nephew, Brayden. A day with “Auntie D” could be scooping G-Bombs and flinging them into the woods, painting, throwing frisbees, playing games, and anything fun.
Deanna was a talented artist and loved turning something old into something beautiful. Her beauty shone through the planting beds and “chicks and hens” wall she tended to. Her creative style and handmade cards will not be forgotten. She had a passion for caregiving and was kind and loving to all she met. She had a special way with the animals in her life. They are missing her love already. Deanna’s witty sense of humor will always bring a smile to us.
She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Deanna is survived by her parents, Dean and Kathy Hove; her brother, Bryan Hove; nephew, Brayden Hove; special sidekick (cat), Lola; loving aunts, Gail (Bob) Meyer, Doreen (Pete) Thompson, Diane (Gene) Acito, Dawn Hove (Mike Novak), and Danelle Gerow, and Sharon (Bill) Jotham; loving uncles, Dave (Kathy) Anderson, Mark Anderson, Doyle (Shirley) Gates, David (Barb) Gates, Bob Rossman (Lynda Taylor), and Henry Hove; her companion Justin Lunsford; her beloved pets dear to her heart, Gypsy, Hazel, and Reow Reow, as well as many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Henry (Hank) Hove, Helen and Henry Miller, and Ernie and Edna Anderson; aunt, Doris Wateski; uncles, Bruce Gerow and Ken Shafer; cousins, Jason Johnson, Alan Keller, Bobby Wateski and Annie Funmaker.
An open house visitation will be held on March 27, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St, Onalaska, WI 54650 with a Graveside burial following at Green Mound Cemetery in Holmen, WI.
Guests will be required to wear masks and social distance if attending the visitation or graveside service.
