Diane E. Walters
Diane E. Walters, 71, of La Crosse, passed away suddenly in her home on May 6, 2019. She was born October 8, 1947 to Eldo Walters and Helen (Zoll) Hilts in Waukon, Iowa.
Diane retired from Northwest/Delta Airlines where she spent 40 years as a flight attendant. She enjoyed golfing with her friends at Fox Hollow Golf Course.
Diane is survived by her mother, Helen; siblings, Maureen Blomquist, Danny (Sandy) Walters, Jim (Barb) Walters, Debbie Walters; and several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Diane wished to have no formal services. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Diane and I had great laughs and fun – we also had serious conversations in our young days….Rest in peace! “Z”
My condolences to you Deb and your family. I always enjoyed being with Diane because she treated everyone the same. What a beautiful, gracious person she was. I will remember the good times we had golfing. Prayers to all of you.

Diane was a fun, full of life young woman as we shared some high school times together. My mother was a Walsh (& Welsh) from Waukon; family connections together I found out in later yrs. So sad to hear of her passing!! Bless her soul and condolences to her family…wish we could have some ritual to say our good-byes. Diane Vaaler Withers
Diane we are having a Celebration of life on Sat July 20th from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at West View Inn in West Salem Wi. Thank you for the kind words to Diane. She was a wonderful person and sister.
We were all lucky to have been blessed with Diane’s warmth and friendly nature. The world was a brighter place because of her presence.

I was shocked when I heard of Diane’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss of a child, sister, and friend. She was a warm loving person. She will be missed by many.
