Diane Marie Ammerman
In memory of Diane Marie Ammerman, who made our lives brighter with her love and creativity. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024.
Diane was really good at making spaces cozy and inviting. She liked doing crafts and decorating for each season and holiday. Being with family made her happiest. Whether gathered around the dinner table, a campfire, working on a craft project or planting flowers together, she cherished every moment shared with her loved ones.
Her generous spirit extended not only to people but also to animals, as she opened her home and heart to many cats and dogs in need. Diane made everyone feel welcome with her warm smile and open arms.
Diane is survived by her children Joe (Torrey) Ammerman, Debra (Dale) Kast, Jim (Kim) Ammerman and Jay Ammerman, and her grandchildren Tim Bell, Joey Ammerman, Ashley (Luke) Deml, Samme (Nick) McMahon, Kristine Ammerman, Brittany (Nick) Ledegar, Tammy Kast, and Timothy Kast, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, and her close friends Andy Jewels and Pete Opitz.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur Lee Ammerman, parents Frank and Willie Mae Apka, and sisters Annette, Helen, Marie, and Eleanor and her best friend Faye Russell.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 3:00 pm at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Diane was the nicest lady ..she will be missed. Condolences and prayers.to the family. She lived a long life…
