Heaven gained an angel Dixie Becker, a cherished member of the La Crosse, WI community, who left us on April 30, 2024, at the age of 63.

Dixie was born on September 6th of 1960 . Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, Dixie touched the lives of many with her unwavering kindness and dedication to helping others. Her passion for service was evident in every aspect of her life, from her professional endeavors to her personal commitments.

A lover of the outdoors, Dixie found joy and solace in camping along the beautiful riverbanks that adorn our region. These moments in nature were cherished times of reflection and rejuvenation for her. Dixie’s love for German Shepherds was equally well-known; she raised and cared for several of these noble animals throughout her life, treating each one as a beloved member of her family.

Dixie’s legacy of love extends beyond her immediate family to the countless lives she impacted through her work and everyday acts of kindness. Whether providing a listening ear or lending a helping hand, she embodied the spirit of community and compassion.

Dixie is survived by her son, daughter and grand child. All those who were fortunate enough to know her. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

 A memorial service to celebrate Dixie’s life will be held at First Free Church up at 123 Mason st Onalaska, WI. In the chapel June 8th at 12pm allowing all who loved her to gather and share the memories that will keep her spirit alive in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Dixie. Your legacy of kindness and love will never be forgotten.
