Donna Johnson
Donna M. Johnson, 70, of Leon, formerly West Salem, WI passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Gundersen Health System surrounded by family.
She was born on December 8, 1948 in La Crosse to Edward and Elrose Nagle. On March 6, 1976 she married Floyd Johnson, Sr in Colorado Springs, CO.
Donna was employed at Jack Winters, Cenex, and Duratech. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, playing cards, camping, fishing, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always supportive, protective and caring. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Those that will cherish her memory include children Floyd (Terrie) Johnson Jr, Nancy (William) Peterson, Todd (Laura) Johnson, Jason (April Moore) Johnson and son-in-law Steven Mathews; grandchildren Alex (Amanda) Braun, Aubrey Johnson, Owen Johnson, Mandy(Troy) Berry, Monica Walters, Jordan Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Timothy (Jackie) Edmison, Kelsey Edmison, Kylee Mathews Ariana Johnson, Dustin Hernandez, Collin Hernandez ; great-grandchildren Steven, Haylee, Audriauna, Mercedes, Mckinley, Remi, Masen, Aaliyah, siblings Pat (Ger) Christianson, Jim Nagle, Randy (Jeannette) Nagle, Cheryl Crawford, Barb (Steve) Hoff, Debbie (Dean) Seidel, Scott Nagle, Kerri Nagle, Janet Bahr; and many nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd, daughter Jeannie, son Timothy, her parents Ed and Elrose Nagle, father-in-law and mother-in-law Reuben and Dorothy Johnson, brother-in-law David Crawford and sister-in-law Dee Dee Nagle.
A celebration of life will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Log Cabin in Bangor with a time of prayer and sharing at 7:00 pm. If you would like to express condolences to the family but are unable to attend the celebration of life, please feel free to send them to Todd Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
I love you mother!!! As I sit here looking out my window at the cold sun shine temperatures I am still shedding tears and trying to be strong but my heart aches so much as I am missing you like crazy!!! Till me meet again I know you are at peace I love you Mom!!!! Please look over the grandkids and give them guideance if they need it!!
Donna you will be so missed. You have been like a second mother to me . You and Floyd will always hold a special spot in my heart and also the Johnson family.
Donna worked with my Mom at Jack Winters. She was my hair cut model for my job at JC Penney and I was privilaged to call her my friend and client for over 30 years. I will miss her smiles and her advice. Rest in Peace Donna, you will be missed.
So sad to hear. My prays goes out to the family. She was a wonderful lady.
Today we say” till we meet again to Donna.”Our sister who would pick up her phone and dial one of many to chat about nothing, her way of staying connected. At the end of the conversation she would say “love ya.” She loved family. She was a stage 4 lung cancer survivor and my support when I went thru breast cancer. My angel than and she will forever be my angel now. ❤

You will be missed by many, Im so glad i was able to have met you and get the time we got together. Will miss your messages and most of all will miss you. Rest in peace . Love you bunches!
