Donna Mae Craig
Donna Mae Craig passed away on July 13, 2020. She was born September 17, 1936 to August and Gladys Kirchoff. On April 15, 1954, Donna married Bud Craig. They resided in Hokah, MN most of their married life where they raised their four children, Debbie Gromo, Vickie (Gary) Frauenkron, Mike (Deb) Craig, and Pam (Jeff) Schroeder. Donna had six grandchildren who were especially dear to her heart, Amy (Cory) Wood, Byron (Anna) Frauenkron, Michael Gromo, Sami (Neil) Driscoll, Craig Schroeder and Asher Schroeder, as well as two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Elliot Frauenkron. She was also survived by her four brothers and one sister, several in-laws, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna’s greatest joy in her life was her family. She took great comfort in her faith and her church family. Donna’s favorite pastime was making handmade quilts and needlework to give to family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking, making Christmas cookies and candy, especially everyone’s favorites. She loved playing games with her family and doing puzzles, including her daily crossword. She enjoyed camping, spending winters in Arizona, watching softball, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Gene, I am so sorry for your loss. It’s never easy to say goodbye and it’s never long enough.
