Dr. Alan Locketz
Dr Alan Locketz, 83, passed away March 14th, 2024. Survived by life partner Anne Miller and her children, son Adam Locketz of Minneapolis, nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Alan resided in La Crosse, WI most of his life. A proud Veteran serving as an Air force Doctor, followed by a private Ophthalmology practice in Tucson, Arizona.
He was a man of many interests, well read, life long scholar. Alan was kindhearted and wise; his gentle guidance will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Alan was a schoolmate of mine and a friend you many years thereafter. For many recent years he was a more private person. Several years ago Alan and I would meet my accident at the Kwik ‘Trip and both of us enjoyed sharing stories about our families and our adventures when we were children. One good memory was he and several of us riding in his jeep in an apple orchard and getting caught by the farmer. We learned our lesson and laughed about it at the Kwik Trip He was extremely proud of his son. Lately I have not found him at Kwik Trip but I sadly looked for him
