Edward Alan Evans

Edward Alan Evans passed away on Monday, November 23rd, 2020. He was born on July 6th, 1944 in Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha, WI, To Ernest and Frances (nee Heinzelman) Evans. He grew up in the Pewaukee area and graduated from Waukesha High School. He worked for a short time at Waukesha Motors where he met his wife Patricia. He enlisted in U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era and his last duty station ended up working indirectly for Admiral McCain while his son John was a pow. After his air force tour, he joined the Navy “Seabees” and completed over 21 years. Ed always considered himself fortunate to be healthy enough to serve his country and he was proud to do so. He married Patricia J Kirby in 1966 and they celebrated 54 years together. They had two sons Stephen and Christopher. He worked as an electrician for his career and at the end helped at WWTC. Ed had five brothers and two sisters, Joanne (David) Cowan, Donald Evans, Anita (Eric) Grieser, Robert Evans (Margery), Brian Evans (Judy), Thomas Evans (Sharon), and Alan Evans.

Parents, Ernest and Francis along with Robert and Anita predeceased him.

As per his wishes, there won’t be a visitation or service.

      So sorry to hear this, but I Know Ed is with Jesus! He was a great guy. I fondly remember doing Awana with him at Bethany!

    My deepest condolences to Ed’s family. I met Ed while working at Gundersen Health. I always looked forward to seeing Ed. Enjoyed listening to his stories , he was so pleasant and always had a smile to share. I truly will miss seeing him. This has to be one of the hardest parts of my work. Losing those we become so fond of. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Have had the privilege of knowing Ed for many years and would get together once or twice a year. We would visit for an hour or two and would never run out of things to discuss. Always brought up his pride in serving our country. Ed, Rest In Peace. May God bless your family and your soul.
