She was one of my favorite teachers. I will always remember her laugh, and how she cared about all of us. She was also a colleague of my Mother, and they enjoyed each other’s creativity. A great woman!

I’m so greatful I was able to be one of her caretakers these past 3 years. Ede is definitely one of my favorite people in the entire world. She has a special place in all of our hearts at ECS.

I met Mrs. Ernst the fall of 1967 when I was student teaching in a sixth grade classroom nextdoor to hers. She was a delightful, caring, excellent teacher, and I felt privileged to spend some time in her classroom observing her in action. She touched the lives of so many children, their parents, and her teaching colleagues. She left a legacy to be passed on through generations of teachers.
I send my sympathy to her family and all who knew her.
