She was one of my favorite teachers. I will always remember her laugh, and how she cared about all of us. She was also a colleague of my Mother, and they enjoyed each other’s creativity. A great woman!

  2. Christi Nowland

Mrs. Ernst was my 5th grade teacher and she was my favorite teacher of all my years. She made a lasting impact on me! My sympathy to her family.

I’m so greatful I was able to be one of her caretakers these past 3 years. Ede is definitely one of my favorite people in the entire world. She has a special place in all of our hearts at ECS.

I met Mrs. Ernst the fall of 1967 when I was student teaching in a sixth grade classroom nextdoor to hers. She was a delightful, caring, excellent teacher, and I felt privileged to spend some time in her classroom observing her in action. She touched the lives of so many children, their parents, and her teaching colleagues. She left a legacy to be passed on through generations of teachers.
I send my sympathy to her family and all who knew her.

  4. Pat Wuttke

Mrs. Ernst was my favorite teacher. She was so kind and genuinely cared for her students. My condolences to her family.
