Eugene Salvatore Greco, Age 70, of Holmen, WI, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023, at Mayo Clinic in Onalaska, WI.  He was born on April 13, 1952, to Giovanni Greco and Rosa Savino Tancredi (Greco) of Caselle in Pittari, Italy.  He married Isabel Rivera Girona (Greco) on September 6, 1975, in Brooklyn, NY.

Hobbies: playing chess, cards, and dominos, watching sports, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, great knowledge in cars, watching and attending car shows, reading Tom Clancy and David Baldacci novels, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He had a great love for music and knew many songs by heart from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

He is survived by his wife Isabel and their three loving sons Michael (Crystal) Greco, John (Jessica) Greco, and David (Melissa) Greco, their ten grandchildren, Donavin, Mikayla, Phoenix, Vincent, Brooklyn, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Trenton, Lincoln, and Isabella.  He is also survived by his brother Dominick (Elizabeth) and their children Danielle (Salvatore) Orsino, Johnny (Rikki) Greco, and Michelle (Vincent) Falcone. His sister Michelina (Giovanni) Adamo, and their children Jerry and Andrew Adamo. Also survived by his brother-in-law John Evenson and his children Tony (Erin) Evenson, Dana Evenson.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, Vincenzo, Liliana, Francesco, Victoria, Daniella, and Grayson.

Proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Michelina Greco, father-in-law Antonio Rivera and mother-in-law Eduardina Rivera (Girona), brothers-in-laws Jose Antonio and Eduardo Rivera, sister-in-law Nilda Luz Evenson (Rivera)

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Onalaska.  Msgr. Steve Kachel will officiate mass.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church.  Interment will be held at Norden Cemetery.  His full obituary is online at couleecremation.com.
