Wow…100 yrs young! And 78 years of marriage. I knew Fern and Stan from Faith Baptist. A couple like them leave a dear special place in ones heart. She is with Jesus that is for sure. What a testimony she lived for her Saviour. So blessed to have known her.

Fern was like a second mom to me when I would come to spend time with Connie on the farm near DeWitt. She would always ask about my folks ! She was a very sweet lady !!

We first met Fern and Stan in 1986 when they came to stay with us as part of their holiday in the UK. They stayed with us for just over a week and we got on so well that they invited us to stay with them at their farm which we did in 1988. When they came over here again in 1990, we spent two weeks with them touring Scotland and the north of England. Since then, we have had another holiday at the farm and one at West Salem and our son spent almost a month on the farm with them one summer. Having met all their children and grandchildren, we feel we know them. Although we have not seen them for 20plus years, we have kept in touch with letters, cards and phone calls.
Fern was wonderfully kind to our family and made sure our every need was met. It was our privilege to have known her, albeit briefly, and our love and condolences go to all the family, especially Stan. As Fern always signed off her letters to us, God Bless. from Martin, Margaret, Mark and Rachael
