Gary Thomas Petty
Gary Thomas Petty 74, of Holmen, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023 at home.
He was born on March 25, 1949 to Bernie and Mary Petty. He married Sharon Fritsch on December 14, 1984 in Libertyville, IL.
Gary served 23 years in the Navy and served in Vietnam. He had many national and international postings. Following retirement from the Navy, he worked at Trane Company as a customer chauffeur. He loved playing pool and cards with his friends. Most of all Gary loved being at home on his hobby farm.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, stepsons Michael (Kelly) and Adam (Sarah), daughter Heather, son Thomas, sister Rose, sister-in-law Deborah, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, and brothers Larry and Dennis.
The Family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Croix Hospice and friends Dan and Theresa Nelson who were there always.
Per Gary’s wishes there will be no services and asked that donations be made to local animal organizations or veterans service organizations.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

I’m sorry to hear of Gary’s passing.Great guy always fun to visit with.I thanked him for his service to our country and he was proud of that which he should be.,23 yrs.Rest in peace my friend.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Gary at Trane, he drove my witness test customers and he put in many long days and nights. He always went the extra mile running customers for personal needs and he always had a joke. His smile and fun loving soul will be missed. RIP Gary. Prayers to his family for healing.
