Glen David Kendhammer

November 11, 2022 | 6 comments

Glen David Kendhammer, 70, of Mindoro, WI, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022, at Gundersen Health System following a courageous fight against COVID-19. He was held by his wife and youngest daughter at the time of his passing.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Phyllis (Reiman) Kendhammer; sister, Sandra Cueller and brothers Michael and Ronald Kendhammer.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Kendhammer, their daughter, Megan (Kyle) Kendhammer-Letner; his son and daughter from a previous marriage: Jeremy Kendhammer and Amy (Mike) Johnson; and four siblings: Leanne (Steve) Burzinski, Jocelyn Vogel, Roger (Terri) Kendhammer and Darrell Kendhammer. Along with several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Glen was always the life of every party, whether he intended to be or not. He had a knack for making everyone around him laugh and always made sure everyone was having a good time. He loved his family, his pets, the Green Bay Packers, classic tv shows and nature documentaries. He enjoyed staying busy and could often be found outside appreciating nature or taking care of his yard. In his younger years, Glen loved gardening, video games, visiting the zoo, trying unique foods and playing croquet with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.

The family would like to thank Glen’s doctors, nurses and care staff at Gundersen Health Systems for their kindness to both Glen and his family throughout his stay in the hospital.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to an animal charity of your choice as Glen always had a soft spot for all of the world’s animals.

If you would like to make a donation to Glen’s local animal shelter, The Coulee Region Humane Society, you may do so here: https://www.couleehumane.com/.

A private service will be held at a later date

Condolences
