Grace Helen Bashaw

Grace Helen Bashaw, age 79, passed away peacefully July 14th, 2020 due to cancer. She was born November 3rd, 1940 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to William and Marie Rochester. She married Robert Harold Bashaw, in June 1963, who preceded her in death in 1992.

Grace was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. She loved watching football and was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. She also enjoyed watching golf and the food network channel.

Grace is survived by her three children and their spouses Raymond and Sharon Bashaw, Barbara and Rollie Moe and Lisa and Stephen Morris; grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Nickalus, Alexis, Hunter, Chase and Austin; step-grandchildren, Michelle, Mike and Kyle; 8 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great, great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Mary Lou) Rochester and Clarence Rochester; siters-in-law, Norene Rochester and Renee Druliner; brothers-in-law,  John (Lois) Bashaw, Pete Bashaw, Thomas (Maryanne) Bashaw and Jerry Grossbach, along with many nieces and nephews.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents William and Marie, brothers, Louis (Gladys), Cecil, John (Mary Lou), Robert (Rita) and Lester (Mona) Rochester; sisters, Stella, and Dorothy Rochester; brothers-in-law; Paul and Daniel Bashaw; sisters-in-law, Sister Barbara and Pam Bashaw, Elaine Grossbach, Evelyne (Clarence) Kramer, and Susan Gallagher.

The family would like to thank Gundersen Lutheran Hospital and the Tri-State Ambulance EMT’s for their excellent care during the past few difficult months.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday August 29th, 2020 at the Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Avenue, La Crosse, WI, from noon until 3 p.m.
