Grace Marie Treu, 68, of Alma, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Born on December 16, 1957, in Monroe, Wisconsin, Grace lived a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Grace was the beloved wife of Dan Treu, her husband of 50 years. Together they built a life centered around family and shared values. She was a devoted mother to their three sons: Carl, Patrick, and Douglas along with our daughter-in-law Denise (wife of Carl). Grace had great love for her four grandchildren Jacob, Dawn, Wyatt and Brian. Grace also shared a close bond with her sisters Barbara, Linda, and Kathy. Grace also had sister and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents Ernia and Howard, her brother Billy, and her sister Marry.

Grace had a deep love for family traditions and gatherings. She especially treasured deer season and holidays as they brought everyone together-a time she held dear in her heart. Her warmth and care extended beyond her family to animals as well; she had an enduring affection for them throughout her life.

Though Grace did not belong to a formal church congregation, she carried a strong faith in the Lord. She found comfort in knowing she was saved and would be with Him when called upon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Milwaukee Burger Company, located at 3039 Medco Court La Crosse Wi. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Grace’s life over a meal and rejoicing in the peace she will forever have.

Grace’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her legacy of love and kindness bring solace to all who mourn her passing.
