Obituary

Heather Marie Kenyon

January 14, 2021 | 7 comments

Heather Marie Kenyon, 35, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.  She was born on June 17, 1985 to Dan and Kim Kenyon.

When Heather wasn’t working, she was living life to the fullest.  In the summer you could find her on the river, fishing, boating, picnicking, riding motorcycles, at car races or anything outdoors.  In the winter she would focus on her beautiful artwork and paintings.  Heather absolutely adored her nieces and nephew, spending any quality time she could with them.  Heather loved spending quality time with her significant other, Matt, and his children.  Family was everything to Heather.  Her recovery family was so important to her.  She would often say “Thank God for my people”.  While Heather was gone for a while, she came home to us and was able to be the most beautiful, caring, sharing, and giving human being.  With that being said, Heather was able to give the ultimate gift of life, through organ donation.  Heather loved all she knew fiercely, don’t ever doubt that.

Heather is survived by her grandparents, Bill (Linda) Macy of Gillette, WY; Chis (Helen) Jammerman of Thayne, WY; parents, Dan (Kim) Kenyon of Ferryville, WI; fiancé, Matt Robinson and his children, Tyler, Jacob, Adalyn; brothers, Nick Kenyon and his daughter Faith Kenyon, Mike (Katie) Kenyon and their children, Jaydin, Lachlan, Avery, Addy, and Breighlynn Kenyon.  She was loved dearly by many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins across the country.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill (Thekla) Kenyon.

The family would like to thank the staff in the critical care unit at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Tri-State Ambulance, Shelby Fire and Rescue, and the UW Organ and Tissue Donation team.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are preferred and may be directed to Kenyon PO Box 114 Ferryville, WI 54628

The family will hold a private memorial service and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Sorry for your loss. Heather meant alot to me. She believed in me when I couldn’t. She taught me about love, finding positive in things, and never giving up. You had a great daughter that will be missed.

Dan and Kim and family. So sorry for your loss. I still remember the only time I met Heather was when she was wrestling in high school. She got beat that day but she was not an easy match.

    Kenyon Family and Matt

I am sorry to hear if Heather’s passing. She was amazing! I met Heather as she cleaned my home with Jen.

My husband loved talking to her and he was able to see her once before he passed last year!

She would often tap on my office door, hey I am cleaning by your door now or pop in for a quick chat. Her stories about fishing always made me laugh.

She will be missed by many as she has made an imprint on our hearts ?

I am blessed to have known her.
