Howard Dale Richert
Howard Dale Richert, 84 of Holmen, WI, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 at home with his family at his side.
Born on October 27, 1937 to Robert and Helen Richert, Howard married Christina Peaslee on June 26, 1959 at First Lutheran Church in Onalaska, WI.
He proudly served in the US Army and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed reading fiction books, and watching old Westerns on TV.
Howard is survived by his wife Christina, daughters Tracy Richert and Lori (George Besl) Richert, and son Jeff Richert. And his beloved dog Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Richert and his sister Marlene Stavlo.
Special thanks to Mayo Clinic Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during the last months of Howard’s life.
A celebration of life service will be held on July 17th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Halfway Creek West Shelter House 400 Walnut Dr., in Holmen.
We are so sorry for the loss of Howie. He was a pretty good guy and I’m sure he will be missed by many of his friends and family. RIP Howie. Our sympathy to all of his family.
Sorry for your loss, I worked with Howie at GHB, He always seemed to be in a good mood. May he rest in peace.
