John “Jack” B. Evans
John (Jack) B. Evans age 88, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born on July 6, 1935 to Ethel & Richard Evans. He married Patricia Ann Krueger on September 12, 1959.
Jack liked to tinker with many different hobbies throughout the years, watches and clocks, acrylic photographs, guns, etc. Jack would change his hobbies frequently. He had a love for the outdoors. Hunting was a passion but more for the camaraderie. His family was his world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; daughter, Terrie (Rick Cyr) Borden; son, Randy (Sandy) Evans and daughter, Karen (Deann) Peterson; grandchildren, Michael & Lucie Borden, Cassandra & Richard Evans, Nichole (Cheemoua) Thao & Amber Evans; 9 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel & Richard Evans; his mother and father-in-law, Lucille & Willard Krueger; brother, Richard Evans; and brother-in-law, Richard Miller.
Thank you to the staff at Gundersen ICU and palliative care units for the care and compassion they showed Jack.
His celebration of life service with memory sharing will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at 3:00 pm at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska with visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of the sharing.
