Karen M. Ghelfi, 67, of LaCrosse WI passed away peacefully at Gundersen hospital on Monday July 25th, 2022. She was born on March 4th, 1955 to John P. Ghelfi and Donna Ghelfi (Kemp). Karen grew up on the northside of LaCrosse and  graduated from Logan High school in 1973. She enjoyed playing card games with her grandchildren, going on walks, watching the infamous hallmark movies, and never missed a Green Bay Packers game She is survived by her 3 children, Brad Ghelfi (Jalley Newkirk),  Betsy Ghelfi, and Brentt Krueger, all of LaCrosse. 7 grand children;  Isaiah, Eli, Mason, Brianna, Maurell, Marissa, and Macelyn. Sandy and Eddie Waldron, Patricia and Luther Zemple, Carol Boshcka, Shirley Ghelfi, JoAnn and Terry Schaller, Teri Lynn Mejia-Ghelfi of Oklahoma City, OK, and  younger brother Eugene and Kim Ghelfi, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, older sister Betty Lou Stetzer, and brother Robert (Bobby) Ghelfi. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 10th 2022 at Pastimes on Lacrosse’s northside from 3-8 PM.
