Kay F. Osiecki
January 18, 1937 – August 17, 2024

Kay F. Osiecki, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024. Born on January 18, 1937, Kay’s life was filled with love, devotion to her faith, and a deep commitment to her family.

She is survived by her children: Gary (Brenda) Osiecki, Mitch (Robyn) Osiecki, Rita (Jim) Schmitz, Bob (Kathy) Osiecki, Tim Osiecki and Stacie Osiecki. Kay was a proud grandmother to Toni Osiecki, Casey (Lisa) Osiecki, Chris (Anna) Wilcox, Nick Wilcox (Sara Klatt), Ryan Wilcox, Molly (Brett) Lessner, Maria (William) Lucas, Payton Osiecki, Kris (Troy) Williams, Eric Schmitz (Jenn Kuster), Edward Schmitz, Tyler Osiecki (Stephanie McGregor), Alicia (Matt) Chistopherson, Vanessa Lindsay (Andrew Glasspoole) and Joshua Osiecki. Kay was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren, and was excited to be welcoming two more great grandchildren this month! She is further survived by sisters-in-laws, Sally Osiecki and Barb Osiecki. Many more friends held a special place in her heart including special friends Patty Powell and Rita Gipp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenne and Mildred Madison, her husband of 57 years, Raymond Osiecki, her son Peter Osiecki, her sisters Maxine, Hazel, Bea, Char and Janet as well as their husbands. In addition, she was preceded in death by Ray’s brothers, brother-in-law and several of their wives. We are quite certain the card games, dances and laughter are continuing in her forever home!
Those who knew mom understood how much she cherished her family and friends, but also her passion for cooking, playing cards, bingo, the Harry J. Olson Senior Center, telling jokes and loudly supporting the Milwaukee Brewers.

Visitation will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in West Salem on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4:30PM to 7:30PM and also from 9AM to 11AM on Friday, August 30, 2024. Funeral service will be at 11AM on Friday, August 30 at the church. The funeral luncheon will be held at the West Salem American Legion following the service.

Dear Rita and all the family I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was one in a million and lived her life always caring about others. Plus she was such a inspiration… never slowing down until the end. She was definitely a part of all things West Salem… it will be strange not seeing her around town and at the legion. Rest in peace dear Kay💙🙏🏻💙

Our sympathies to the Osiecki Family. I got to know Kay through her work at Mulders when my Mom was there. She truly was an inspiration to me and all of the people she cared for.
