A day after his 76^thbirthday, Larry Dean Mahlum, of Bangor, WI, passed away on April 22, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.  He lived a life filled with passion for service to his fellow man and adventures that could fill volumes.  Larry lived and worked as a missionary and retired as a pastor in the Seventh-Day Adventist church with 40 years of service. Larry was the first born of four children to Russell and Mildred Mahlum who are both deceased; followed by his brother Lonny Mahlum (deceased) and by sisters Cathy Mahlum (deceased) and Lalana Mahlum Roupas.  His mother Mildred was a devoted and praying mother that left a major impression on his spiritual development.  He was often referred to as “God’s boy,” and he dedicated his life to Christ and his service.

Larry is survived by his wife Carmen Reddie Mahlum and four sons: Chad his wife Tinamarie and their two children Aidan and Celia; Trevor and Kerri his wife and two daughters, Morgan and Madison; Christopher; and Mathias, his wife Gabrielle and their two sons, Myles and Xavier Mahlum. His sister Lalana and her husband Mark Roupas their children Stephen Russell and Caitlin along with his aunts: Marian Brown, Mary Lou Young, Nyla Musser, and Leona Kebbe, many cousins, his in-laws Knollis and Viris Reddie, Michelle Reddie, Shelby Warren, wonderful friends and church family from around the world.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mildred Mahlum, his brother Lonny Mahlum and sister Cathy Mahlum, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and church family from around the world.

The memorial service will be held on June 9, 2019, at the La Crosse Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2117 La Crosse Street, La Crosse, WI 54601.  Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and the memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
