LaVonne Jeaninne “Bonnie” Sloan, 88, of La Crosse, WI passed away on Monday February 10, 2020 at Gundersen Health System.

She was born in La Crosse on February 17, 1931 to George Henry and Bernice Evelyn (Berry) Lutz.  On April 27, 1947 in Richland Center, WI.  Bonnie married William Clark Ogden in a Civil Ceremony.  They were divorced on April 27, 1956.  William passed away on November 7, 1962.  Bonnie married Howard Edgar Sloan on March 8, 1959.  They were divorced on January 31, 1977.  Howard passed away on June 20, 2007.

Bonnie worked and retired from Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center and Reinhart Foods.

She is survived by three children, William Ogden (Carol), Vicki (Robert) Olinger, both of La Crosse and Michael Sloan of Portland, Oregon.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by her dog, Sophia.

Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ogden in 2002 and a daughter, Bonnie Williams in 2018.

LaVonne’s wishes were to be cremated with burial with her mother at a later date.

A special thank you to my daughter, Vicki, who was always there for me and my many long appointments and her husband, Robert who took care of my yard and house.  Also a special thank you to Robert and Vicki, grandson Joseph Olinger and granddaughter Andrea and her husband Mark Parins II who spent many hours with me during Hospice Care.
