Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this. I hadn’t seen Mark much after you moved from next door. I still think of him as that kid who was always looking for fun and adventure. I still remember looking out the window one snowy winter day and seeing Ned and Mark sledding off the ROOF of your garage into the snow bank. 🙂 He always seemed smart and creative to me. They made a gocart together and I thought, “Mark, you should go into engineering”. Of course, then I found out they took it up Ebner Coulee and rode it down that street. I assume they had not thought of putting brakes on the cart. :-One time, several years after leaving our neighborhood and possibly just out of high school Mark stopped at our house just for a visit. How nice!! I know Mark struggled in life…but he always seemed to have a smile on his face and another adventure to pursue. God bless him and I pray he is at peace now. My sympathy to you and Jeanne and all of Mark’s extended family. Take care!

I worked with President Medland at Viterbo University, and occasionally we would talk about our experiences with our children. We had more than a few things in common. I send my condolences to Donna at this time of grief. I hope that you will cling to those good memories you have of Mark to sustain you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. We hadn’t kept in touch since you moved to Onalaska, but we had some fun times together when we were neighbors – climbing the bluffs, rollerblading, biking, etc. My condolences to Donna and the rest of Mark’s family. I’ll keep you in my thoughts during this difficult time and may Mark be at peace.

While looking through old photos, I found many of you and Mark. Although Mark had problems in his life, there were good times, too. We pray that he is enjoying his next big adventure.
