Mark S. Steers

Mark S. Steers went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday January10th 2024 he was surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born Oct 27, 1962 to Eugene and Donna Steers.

After graduating from West Salem High (class of ’81) he went into the US ARMY where he reached ranking of SP-4. He was proud to have served his country.

In June of ’89 he married his first wife Patty Bright they had 2 children together Chris (Jeannette) and Mike.

On March 24, 2006 he married the love of his life, Francis Magno in the Philippines they later had a daughter Stephanny who made their family complete. Mark doted on his wife and children and especially loved spending time with his grandson Milo.  Mark had a special connection with his nephew, Nathaniel, who helped him out a lot when he was sick.

Mark enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and hanging out with friends, family and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Francis and children Chris, Mike and Stephanny.

Brothers, Paul (Jackie), Leroy, Randy, Pat (Julie), and his sister Deb, sister in law Flory (Timothy) Mattison, Best friend Ana Gary, He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, Amber, Samantha, Nathan, Autumn, Kari, Kimmy, Travis, Rosemary, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Josh, Krystal and Nathaniel.

Mark was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Bill, Dale and sister in law Ann Steers.

We are having a Celebration of Life at 11 am on Friday January 26th at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska WI. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service with a small luncheon after. Pastor Trever Skrede will officiate and Pastor Mark Clements will co-officiate.

    Uncle mark was such a light to this world . The funniest person and could light up a room anywhere . He will truly be so missed .May he rest in peace! Love Krystal ❤️

    My uncle mark was the true meaning of a gentle man
    He would give his shirt off his back if it was his last one . So many memories growing up going fishing , going to the dells , out to eat etc I will never forget about you you def had a big heart and in my eyes you were a hero
