Michael Allen Werner
Michael Allen Werner, 63, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on August 28th, 2021 at Mulder Health Care Center in West Salem. He was born March 28, 1958 to Roy and Donna Werner.
Mike enjoyed woodworking and working on small engines. He enjoyed going to engine shows. He also enjoyed playing his accordions.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Werner; daughter, Danielle Stitt (Joshua Gage); grandsons, Christian Stitt, Caiden Gage and Isaac Stitt; daughter, Kellie Werner; and many other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Werner; parents, Roy and Donna Werner; and many other family members.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gundersen Dialysis and Mulder Health Care Center.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

As a fellow graduate of Central High in 76, I wish to express my condolences. I did not know Mike personally. He was in the broadcasting group of kids. I learned to play the accordion 6 years ago. When I saw the photo of Mike with the “stomach Steinway” it caught my eye.
Sorry for your loss, Mike was a great friend in High School. We both loved snowmobiling, and tinkering on engines. Mike makes my fifth lost classmate and friend from the class of 76. Prayer be with you.
I have so many cherished and priceless memories with Mike. They are forever in my heart. I will miss him and his button box. He could always make my heart smile with his music. Dani, Chris and Kellie, I keep you all in my prayers. Mike is at peace now. No more pain…
