Michael Lewko
Michael Lewko, 38, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2026, his 38th birthday.
He was born on July 19, 1988, in Adams, Wisconsin.
Michael will be remembered for his genuine heart, unwavering loyalty, kind spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, valued, and welcome. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those fortunate enough to know him.
Above all, Michael was a proud and devoted father to his beloved sons, Thomas and Boston, who were the center of his world. His love for his boys was immeasurable, and they adored their dad beyond words. The memories they shared and the love he gave them will remain with them always.
Michael leaves behind the love of his life and best friend, Lindsey Lewko, along with his cherished sons, Thomas and Boston. He is also survived by his mother, Patrice Martinez of Mauston, Wisconsin; his sister, Deja Lewko of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; his brothers, Rusty Lewko of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Chris Davis of Tomah, Wisconsin; as well as many extended family members and countless friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Although his life was far too short, the love he gave, the friendships he built, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, especially his sons, who will carry his love with them always.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable life he lived. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

Lewko from day one you always were there to lend a helping hand. You were like a brother to me. You will not be forgotten. In those short 38 years Lewko you made sure to leave an impression forever lasting in so many people’s lives. Lindsay and the boys were lucky to of shared most of those memories. We will make sure that the boys will learn how amazing, and I mean. more than a father amazing, but just how much you were always the first to show thag humility still existed in this world. Brother. although we’ve been through it, you were always there if I needed you. reconnecting last year at our kids school to enjoy a laugh. Always a goof ball, you will be missed. Gone way too soon. I hope I get the pleasure of telling your kids what kind of loyal stand-up brother you are. Loved and not forgotten!
Lewko, you will be forever missed never forgotten! Captain oh captain you always came and saved me bro! Never left anyone hanging, always did whatever you could to help anyone. One of the first time I met you. You came down to our camp site. We had just been through a huge storm and completely rained out. Even though you didn’t know me and we had only met maybe twice before you offered to take some of my clothes home and wash them so they would be clean and dry. I’ll never forget that and always be greatful for having the blessing of calling you my friend! Much love for you bro you will forever be missed 💙

my heart goes out especially to Lindsey n her boys, hadn’t seen lewko in a long time but had many memories and was such a fun person to be around, always could make you laugh. cant imagine the loss your all going through and the boys losing there dad, so heartbreaking. my deepest condolences
