Nancy A. Devine
Nancy A. Devine, 73, of La Crosse passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021, in her home surrounded by her daughters and sister following a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy A. Devine was born November 1st, 1947, in La Crosse to Jennings and Isabelle (Knutson) Jolivette. Nancy graduated from Central High School. She spent the majority of her career in food management and worked for many restaurants in the La Crosse area.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracie Devine of Menomonee Falls, WI; Jodie (Charles) Fitzgerald of Neenah WI; 4 Grandchildren; Ethan King, Carter Fitzgerald, Emalie King, Isabella (Izzy) Fitzgerald; one sister and her best friend, Susan Jolivette, of La Crosse; 2 nephews; and her precious dog, Stella. She will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank everyone involved for all the support and assistance they provided. They are especially grateful to the Mayo Clinic Health System Palliative Care and Hospice Program. They are truly special people.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Humane Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Mom, you were the kindest person and saw the goodness in everyone. Our hearts are broken but we know you are free of pain so farewell for now until we meet again.

There are very few of my closest friends’ Moms that I also called “Ma”. Nancy was that for me. I loved her like a Mom and she will be missed. Much love to you all ❤️
