She was born Nov. 29th, 1941 in Middle Ridge, WI to Adolph J & Inga H. (Iverson) Kerska. Patsy is survived by her loving husband Earl of 55 years (married Feb 16th, 1963). They were married at Saint Joseph the Cathedral in La Crosse, WI.

Patsy grew up and went to school in Cashton. After high school, she worked at Fort McCoy for a short while, and then moved to La Crosse. She took a job at Country Kitchen, which was the 1st Country Kitchen in the state of Wisconsin. She didn’t know it at the time, but the love of her life also started at Country Kitchen at the same time. Patsy and Earl eventually owned and operated several Country Kitchen restaurants together up until 2006. After that, she began working at King Street Kitchen. Her baking skills became famous…especially for her sugar cookies and baked goods. Her hobbies included gardening, puzzles, reading, watching birds, spending time with the grandkids, and being a big animal lover. She really enjoyed attending sporting events, music events, and other school events for all the kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; daughter, Dawn of Onalaska; sons, Dewey (Kristi) of Richland Center, Darren (Gina) of Onalaska, Doug (Angie) of Holmen, and Earl Jr. (Julie) of Baraboo; grandkids, Connor, Lucas, Heath, Haley, Hannah, Cooper, River, Bode, Olivia, Evan, Dawson, and Taylor; siblings, Marlene (Gary) Peters, Elaine (Ken) Mann, Larry (Ruth Robush) Kerska, Gary (Pat) Kerska, Marilyn (Rick) Linbeck; Sister-in-Law’s, LoyDeane Kerska, Alta (George) Buehl, Lilly Eno, and Violet (Dick) Sokolik; along with many nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, LeVerne Kerska and Adolph Kerska; and sister Ethel (Ed) Peterson.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 am with eulogy just before mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1031 Main St., Onalaska.  Fr. Larry Berger will officiate.  Visitations will be held Wednesday, January 2nd from 4-8 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group in the Prairie Room, 133 Mason St., Onalaska and also one hour prior to the mass at the church on Thursday.  A full obituary may be seen at www.couleecremation.com.  The family would like to thank the care providers at Mayo Clinic, especially Dr. Deyo, nurses Katie, Katie, and Ben as well as Kristine Brueggen.
