Peggy Sue Alexander
Peggy Sue Alexander, 64, of LaCrosse, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022 at Mayo Care Health Systems, LaCrosse. She was born March 13, 1958 to Jake David Leeper and Carol Wolfe (Brosinski). She married Tony Alexander April 1982 in LaCrosse. They later divorced.
Peggy loved to travel. She went to Europe twice, made multiple trips to California, Oregon, and the Pacific coast. She enjoyed road trips and “cruising.” Peggy collected various knick knacks at antique and variety stores when travelling. She loved hiking and camping when she was physically able.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Shawn, Nathan, and Ian, daughter Katelyn (Travis) Ellenbolt. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren Caddem, Reagan, and Lily, and a special niece Michele Leeper. Peggy is also survived by countless other nieces and nephews. She remained close to her former in-laws, the Alexander family, the Farah family, multiple friends, and her former co-workers at Chileda.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Leeper. Peggy’s family would like to thank Mayo Cancer Center Staff and Mayo Hospice staff for their kind and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska with prayers offered at noon.
