Phyllis Elaine McLees

Phyllis Elaine (Mahr) McLees, 90, passed peacefully to her eternal rest on Friday, April 5th, 2019  at home surrounded by her family in Galesville, Wisconsin.

Phyllis was born in Geenwood, Vernon County, Wisconsin, May 15th, 1928, to Henry and Leone (Bauman) Mahr.  She graduated from Hillsboro High School and Madison Beauty School.  She lived in Madison, Wisconsin, until June 10th, 1947 when she married Daryl Wayne McLees in Rockford, Illinois.

She is survived by her children: Terry (William) Wagner of Galesville, Merry (Randy) O’Heron of Onalaska, and Scott (Jan) McLees of Trempealeau.  Seven grand-children:  Darin Wagner, Holly Nasseth, Luke (Emily) Wagner, Andrew McLees, Jacob (Olivia) McLees, Jess (Crystal) McLees and Derek (Mallori) McLees. Three great-grand children:  Sophia Wagner, Lillian Wagner, and  Madilynn McLees.  She is also survived by her brother Robert (Mary) Mahr of Kendall.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her  brother Richard (Bud) Mahr.

There will be visitation on Friday, May 3rd from 4:00-7:00 PM at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI 54650.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 4th at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Hillsboro, Wisconsin,  with a celebration  of life following at the Spring Valley Golf Course & Country Club, Hwy 80, Union Center, Wisconsin 53962
