Robert John (Bob) Ferrier
ROBERT JOHN (BOB) FERRIER, 72, passed away on October 26, 2023 at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin, following a long battle with cancer. He was born January30, 1951 to Merle and Evelyn Ferrier.
Bob graduated from Aquinas High School, Class of 1969. He furthered his education at UW La Crosse and in 1972, he entered the US Army. He served our country as a personnel management specialist and received several medals. He was extremely proud to be a veteran.
He will always be remembered for his quick smile and easy laugh! He is survived by a sister, Pamela Holy, of Litchfield Park, AZ, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Ferrier.
The family would like to extend a thank you to all his doctors and nurses at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse and Whitehall, Wisconsin for their excellent care.
Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN at a later date.
Our deepest condolences to Bob’s family on his very recent passing! I remember him from grade school ‘ He was such a wonderful person and so proud of his military service!
I know he is resting in eternal peace with his family.

Pam and family so sorry to hear of Bob‘s passing. We went to school together and became friends. Hung out at your parents home and took a trip with him to Florida. I spent time with Bob about a year ago it was great to see him again after so many years
