Ronald Fredrick Hutschenreuter

February 14, 2019 | 8 comments

Ronald Fredrick Hutschenreuter “Hutsch”, 78, of Victory, WI, formerly of Evansdale, IA, passed away Sunday, February 10th, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. Ron was born in 1940 to Herman and Gertrude (Asselin) Hutschenreuter.

Ron retired from John Deere in Waterloo, IA after 30 years of service. After retirement, he moved back to WI where he enjoyed fishing, camping, and coffee clutching with friends and special neighbors. He was always there to help anyone in need. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jean (Rimmert) Hutschenreuter; daughters, Rebecca and Roxi; sons, Ronald and Rick; 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother; 3 brothers; sister; 2 half-brothers; 1 step brother; and one very special granddaughter. He was the type of person if you ever met him you would never forget him. Ron loved spring time more than words can express. He loved the chirping birds, flowers, and green grass. With that being said, the best way we can honor his wishes is having a private gathering in the spring to be held at a later date.

God loved uncle Ronnie my condolences to the family, the last of the Hutschenreuter line of that family. No longer in pain and with his family at last !

There are no words to express the feelings of a loss when it’s someone as special as this guy. From the very first time I met him…he made me feel like a part of his family. I loved his smile…his laugh, but mostly the gleam in his eye when he was forever teasing you. That’s the Ron we all know and love. RIP dear man. The world will not be the same without you in it.

I can only imagine how much you’ll all miss him. He was one of a kind for sure, and the good times and the good times we shared as neighbors will always be special memories to me. Bet Jerry will be among those looking for him in Heaven to do some catching up. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you all.
