      Barb,
Dick and I are thinking of you. We were shocked when we heard of his passing. We instantly thought of his wearing of shorts year round. We hope you are feeling everyone’s love.

Barb, I was trying to track you down when I found this notice. An odd way to find an old friend. I’m sorry for your loss of Ron, and yet reading his obituary confirms that he continued to love football and dogs, and that you had a long, happy marriage. I fondly remember when you two met and our car trip to Chicago to see WSC play. I became a widow myself six years ago, and know how strange this time is. You’re in my thoughts, old friend. We’ve done a lot of living these past 50 years.
