Ruth Evelyn Harris of Trempealeau passed away November
22, 2018 at the age of 97.  She was born in Trempealeau Sept 15, 1921 to
Cyril John and Marietta (Cook) Diamond.  On Dec 6, 1941 she married
Gilbert Charles (Bud) Harris, son of Corneille and Rebecca Harris.  She
is survived by 4 children; Beverly Harris, Doris (Ken) Schindler,
Kenneth (Roxanne) Harris and Delores Harris Cieminski.  Her
grandchildren and one great grandchild are; Paul (Stephanie) Schindler,
their daughter McKenna and Rachel Harris.  She is further survived by
sister-in-law Caroline Diamond and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband Bud in 2003, their first born
child, Charles Gilbert in 1948, son-in-law Bill Cieminski, sister Marion
(Art) Trowbridge, brother Irvin Diamond, brothers-in-law Clayton (Marie)
Harris, John Harris, sister-in-law Phyllis (Wayne) Truax and 4 nephews.

Ruth was a very talented lady in many craft mediums; sewing, knitting,
quilting, crochet, woven rugs, woven baskets, some of which she made out
of pine needles, and were very intricate.  She loved to paint in oils.
We all treasure her many handmade items and paintings.  A craft project
was never far from her side.

Mom was a quiet, kind lady with a deep love for Trempealeau.

We would like to thank Marinuka Manor staff for Mom’s wonderful care
these past 11 months.  She truly felt at home there.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trempealeau First Responders or
Trempealeau United Methodist Church are appreciated.

Services will be Saturday, December 8 at the Trempealeau United
Methodist Church, 24255 4th St.  Visitation will be 9:00-10:00, funeral
services at 10:00.  Fellowship will follow in the church dining room.
