  16. Colleen LeBlanc

Sam was one of the most upbeat, cheerful women you’d ever meet. She never complained while going about her job at the Y. She was always quick to help a member out. I can’t imagine the pain her family is going through because I know her friends and co-workers can’t stop thinking of her. She talked freely about her daughter, biking, goals and that trip she took her daughter on to Disneyworld. She is sadly missed. An irreplaceable loss for all. Words just can’t explain or ease this loss of a beautiful soul. My deepest sympathies to her family.

  17. Dave Thomas

Sam was a wonderful young lady…full of fun. Sam always had a smile on her face and ready for a funny prank with me and others at the Y. We would greet each other with a turkey, “gobble, gobble” while flapping our arms or waving to each other by waving at each other with our fingers under our chin, frequently sneaking up and scaring each other with a, “gobble, gobble”. Sam will be SO missed by me and others at the Y. Sam also had a phenominal work ethic.

  18. Stefani Haar

The ONLY good thing about going to the Y at 5am was Sam’s light and personality! She always had a smile, a wave and an excited hello. She even helped me get into my locker after the tumbler broke. I was in a towel. We always laughed about her rescuing me from streaking home. She was a superhero with a bolt cutter for sure! Please know she will be thought of and remembered fondly. Our deepest sympathies…
    The Haar family,
Stef, Pete, Grant, Jay and Corbin
